    Biography

    Mabel Bailey is a Year 9 student at High Storrs School. She has loved classical music from a very young age, falling in love with the flute at the age of 3 after going to a Music in the Round concert. She started learning the piano at age 5 and began flute lessons through Sheffield Music Hub in 2019. Mabel plays the flute with the Music Hub's Senior Orchestra and recently played with them at the Albert Hall.

    Mabel was Head Chorister at St John's church, Ranmoor for two years. She is now a choral scholar and organ scholar, having been learning the organ for three years under the direction of Derek Grover. She has played organs across the country, from Exeter to Newcastle.

    In her free time, Mabel can be found with her nose in a book or with muddy boots in the Peak District.
